| description | The network society in which we are currently immersed implies the centrality of communication and information technologies (ICT) that are based on continuously configured and reconfigured networks. In this context, these technologies raise the possibility of generating new channels to counteract the hegemonic discourse, generating alternative strategies and discourses through the creation and circulation of graphic pieces within the framework of self-convened social movements. These movements propose new organizational forms without marked leadership, mediated by connections that go beyond the classic demonstration on public roads to expand their reach to the Web and the modes of communication through networks.\nTaking the case of feminist social movements that emerged in Argentina and focusing mainly on the period 2015-2018, this thesis proposes a contextualized analysis of graphic activism as a form of expression and participation in favor of a more just and egalitarian society. The general objective, then, will be to analyze the peculiarities of this type of activism in relation to ICT, focusing on the possibilities that social networks and the different tools for creating pieces offer to an increasingly wide and heterogeneous public. From this perspective, graphic activism becomes a form of expression that is not only reserved for the actions of expert designers, but also broadens the horizon towards citizens understood as non-expert designers. |

En este contexto, dichas tecnologías plantean la posibilidad de generar nuevos canales para contrarrestar el discurso hegemónico, generando estrategias y discursos alternativos a través de la creación y circulación de piezas gráficas en el marco de movimientos sociales de carácter autoconvocado. Dichos movimientos plantean nuevas formas organizativas sin liderazgos marcados, mediadas por conexiones que exceden la clásica manifestación en la vía pública para expandir su alcance hacia la Web y los modos de comunicación a través de las redes.\nTomando el caso de los movimientos sociales feministas surgidos en la Argentina y centrándose principalmente en el período 2015-2018, la presente tesis propone un análisis contextualizado del activismo gráfico como forma de expresión y participación a favor de una sociedad más justa e igualitaria. El objetivo general, entonces, será analizar las particularidades de este tipo de activismo en relación a las TICs, haciendo foco en las posibilidades que las redes sociales y las diferentes herramientas de creación de piezas ofrecen a un público cada vez más amplio y heterogéneo.
