Sumario:The thesis aims to provide new categories for the full understanding, and production tools, for empoverished habitats through the urban project. It is intended as an operative theory capable of guiding new projections and implementations in these contexts. Furthermore, it is open to its revision and growth in the permanent interaction that it poses with its object of study.\nThis particular research arises as a need for the production of another knowledge in the face of an unfair socio-spatial context, assuming the responsibility for which the project disciplines are called upon, in the positive transformation of its physical dimension.\nThe work is structured in three approaches embedded in its main title: City, Project and People. The ensemble, thus, intends to serve as a base and foundation for a profound reformulation of public and community policies on the matter.
