En el campo específico de la arquitectura, un nuevo mundo, ahora "digital", parece haber nacido, ofreciendo al arquitecto la posibilidad de curvar, torcer y deformar el espacio dentro de la pantalla de la computadora, para posteriormente poder implementar estos cambios en la vida real. Un nuevo mundo caracterizado por efectos de continuidad y ruptura, en el que nuevas teorías híbridas, entre lo biológico y lo tecnológico, hacen su aparición desafiando las concepciones tradicionales del diseño.
