La necesidad de repensar el espacio educativo adaptándolo a los requerimientos actuales de la sociedad del conocimiento, sostiene la reflexión sobre el soporte arquitectónico docente desde un punto de vista integrador entre disciplinas: Arquitectura y Pedagogía. Pedagogía y Arquitectura comparten algunas metas de la educación, porque en esencia acompañan al individuo en su manera de percibir y actuar sobre el mundo, determinando en gran medida sus inteligencias físicas, emocionales y sociales. La problemática a abordar es estudiar, sobre los espacios intermedios, circulaciones y que éstos puedan servir como espacios de aprendizaje y como oportunidad para la configuración de un espacio de relación e integración social. En los espacios intermedios de la escuela está el germen de las estrategias básicas de los proyectos de Hans Scharoun y Herman Hertzberger. Se entiende la arquitectura como instrumento pedagógico, y como oportunidad esencial para la configuración de un espacio de relación y el aprendizaje. Hoy el aula es el espacio físico temporal tradicional que alberga procesos de Enseñanza Aprendizaje, pero necesita una revisión de la configuración arquitectónica y funcional de estos lugares académicos. Una estrategia a tal fin partiría de los espacios intermedios, entendido como un espacio adicional que articula el interior/exterior, y que puede ser transformado en innovación educativa y suspensión. Como conclusión, la metamorfosis formal y funcional de los espacios intermedios, LA CALLE DEL APRENDIZAJE, como acción formativa puede trascender a sus límites convencionales, impregnando estos ámbitos externos y llevando el positivo impacto de la presencia de modalidades alternativas de Enseñanza Aprendizaje. The need to rethink the educational area adapting it to the new requirements of the knowledge society is needed to see from an integrated point of view between the disciplines: Architecture and Pedagogy. Pedagogy and Architecture share some aims of education, because they both go along with the individual on their way of perceiving the world, shaping their bodily-kinesthetic, emotional and social intelligence. The problematic to study are middles grounds, its circulation and how they can be used as areas of learning and as an opportunity to make a space (place) of socialization and social integration. The middle ground of school is the base of Hans Scharoun and Herman Hertzberger’s projects. Architecture is seen as a pedagogic tool, and as an essential opportunity for the configuration of an area of relationships and learning. Today's classroom is the traditional temporal physical area where the process of Teaching and Learning happens, but it needs a review of its architectural and functional configuration. A strategy to this end would start from the middle ground, understood as an additional space that articulates with the inside and outside, and can be transformed into educational innovation and suspension.
