|a La obra presenta la restauración del Sanatorio Zonnestraal (1926-1931), una estructura moderna poco conocida pero icónica en Hilversum, Países Bajos. Zonnestraal fue diseñado por los arquitectos Jan Duiker (1890-1935), Bernard Bijvoet (1889-1979), y por el ingeniero estructural Gerko Jan Wiebenga (1880-1974). Fundada por el Sindicato de Trabajadores del diamante para la recuperación y rehabilitación de los pacientes tuberculosos. Zonnestraal es un símbolo emblemático de los ideales emergentes de la democracia social en los Países Bajos durante la década de 1920, y refleja el nuevo concepto de uso de la terapia ocupacional en la atención de la salud.
